香姑日記

香姑整理了蒐集自網路上的英文諺語，先將簡單常見的輯成一日十句的編列，打算從2月18日(昨天)開始，週末驗收學習成果。以下是香姑整理給Kevin諺語背誦-02/18～～02/20  2009

無巧不巧，我將這三十句諺語拿回家給我哥獻寶領功，我哥也印了一篇短文要讓Kevin練習Comprehension。家人的天線，是更靈的!

  〈2/18〉

1.          Birds of a feather flock together. 物以類聚。

2.          Don't cry over spilt milk. 覆水難收。後悔無益。

3.          Early bird gets the worm. 早起的鳥兒有蟲吃。

4.          First come, first served 先到先得

5.          God helps those who help themselves 天助自助者

6.          Honest is the best policy 誠實為上策

7.          I think therefore I am 我思故我在

8.          It is never too late to learn 學習永遠不嫌晚。活到老學到老

9.          It never rains, but it pours. 禍不單行

10.     Knowledge is power. 知識就是力量。

〈2/19〉

2.          Words cut more than swords. 舌劍利於刀劍。

3.          Where there is a will there is a way. 有志者事竟成。

4.          Well begun is half done. 好的開始是成功的一半。

5.          Seeing is believing. 百聞不如一見（眼見為真）。

6.          Never put off till (until) tomorrow what you can do today. 今日事今日畢

7.          Money talks. 金錢萬能。

8.          Like father, like son. 有其父必有其子。

9.          Haste makes waste 欲速則不達

10.     Everything is good for something 天生我才必有用

〈2/20〉

1.          Easier said than done 說比做容易

2.          Easy come, easy go 來得快，去得也快

3.          Every dog has his(its) day 十年風水輪流轉

4.          It is no use crying over split milk 覆水難收

5.          Live and learn. 活到學到老。

6.          Necessity is the mother of invention. 需要為發明之母。

7.          No pain, no gain. 人不會不勞而獲（一分耕耘，一分收穫）。

8.          Practice makes perfect. 熟能生巧。

9.          Still water runs deep. 真人不露相，高深莫測→勸人要謙虛、勿自傲。

10.     Talk of the devil and he is sure to appear. 說曹操曹操就到。
